கண் அவனைக் காண்க,
இரு காது அவனைக் கேட்க,
வாய்ப்ண் அவனைப் பாட, 
பதம் சூழ்க, - எள் நிறைந்த
நெய் ஒத்து நின்றானை நீல மிடற்றானை என்
கை ஒத்து நேர் கூப்புக.
---- புறப்பொருள் வெண்பாமாலை கடவுள் வாழ்த்து

Translation :

May the eyes see Him;
May the two ears listen Him;
May the tongue sing His music;
May the feet circumambulate;
Him, Who stands like the oil in the sesame,
One with the blue throat -
May my hands fold together (to worship).
