. Sri Rameswara temple dedicated to Bhagwan Shiva was built in 1189 CE by Rama, a Brahmin of Mane family during Hoysala rule. It was consecrated by the illustrious Kalamukha saint Vamashakti of the Kodiya Matha of Balligavi. Those who visit Banawasi do not miss this temple. It is about 14kms from Banawasi. |
