Sri Airavatheswarar Temple in TN is dedicated to Bhagwan Shiva and was constructed by Rajendra Chola-II in 12th Century. It is UNESCO Heritage site.
The speciality of this temple is " Singing Steps". When one walks or steps on them, they produce a musical note.These steps are located near the Balipeedam. Now it is barricaded.
Must visit place.

Sri Chennakesava Temple is dedicated to Bhagwan Vishnu. This temple was constructed by Hoysalas in 11th century. The Garbhagruha(Sanctum Sanctorum) houses a life size image of Bhagwan Vishnu.
Though simple in its external architectural features, the temple interiors are grand, as in every Hoysala temple.
Recently this temple was renovated but maintanence is not upto the mark. Being This being a live temple and situated amidst a town, should have been strictly maintained.
People visit this temple to get rid off chornic ailments.

Sri Dattatreya Temple' of Chattarki is one among the few Vaishnava temples built by the Kalyani Chalukyas. Chattarki is a small nondescript village in the Vijayapura/Bijapur district of Karnataka state. Vijayapura is a treasure trove of many lesser known temples built during the Kalyani Chalukya period, of which most are dedicated to Shaiva. Only two of the many temples built by the Kalyani Chalukyas in Vijayapura are dedicated to Vaishnava, the Sri Dattatreya Temple at Chattarki and the Sri Narasimha Swamy Temple at Vijayapura. 
The Dattatreya temple was built in the 12th century as per one of the inscriptions found here, which also refers this place to be an agrahara and a center for sculptural art and temple.

Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Temple, built during the reign of Rajaraja Chola has on plan a garbhagriha, an antarala and a mukhamandapa in east-west orientation enclosed by a pillared prakara. In the sanctum, is enshrined an image of Lakshminarasimha. The temple subsequently was renovated and restored during the Hoysala and Vijayanagara periods. The temple has an imposing mahadvara of the typical Vijayanagara style. Another small Siva shrine is present to the north-east of the complex. Delineating Chola features, it contains an inscription on the foundation.
Marehalli is 4 kms from Malavalli town in Mysore district.
